well what i meant by that titling is that chocolate underground is a very short anime version of an australian kids drama called bootleg. its was on abc kids a while ago and i just happen to watch it and think how much they missed in comparison to the live action.
although the live action doesn't have robots that can detect chocolate and then tear into someones house just to get half a bar of chocolate, but it has tanks and machine guns. but the anime really rushes what the characters actually go through in order to get chocolate then the means of how they make it and there are other characters that do help in the live action which was crucial which don't get in the anime.
